Medical device designed to perform collective nebulization treatment in thermal spa environments.
The main components of nebulization are flowing thermal water and compressed air: the water is broken up in a nebulization chamber by a jet of compressed air at a pressure of 3 bar. This moist mist is released into a shared room, where the patient remains for the entire duration of the treatment.
The NA21 room nebulizer is designed for fixed wall-mounted (NA21-B) or floor-mounted (NA21-C) installation in a room specifically arranged for the collective inhalation of thermal mineral waters for the prophylaxis of the upper, middle and lower respiratory tract.
It consists of an arm (NA21-B) or column (NA21-C) made of satin-finished 316 stainless steel, containing all the shut-off components for thermal water, compressed air and drainage. The metal arm has a slot concealed by a removable plate. Removing the plate allows inspection and maintenance of the fittings and piping inside. The device does not require an electrical power supply; it only needs medical compressed air, thermal water and drainage systems.
Medical-grade compressed air is produced by an external generator (not part of the device) and is required at a pressure of 3 bar. The air entering the NA21 device is activated through a control panel equipped with a pressure reducer and pressure gauge, then conveyed through polyurethane piping until it reaches 8 stainless-steel PISPER units with calibrated holes. From there it enters the 8 PISPER CAPS, where the Venturi effect draws thermal water from the dedicated piping.
The nebulized thermal-water jet is then directed toward the upper bell, whose adjustable height makes it possible to obtain a more or less humid mist.
The thermal water coming from the system passes through transparent silicone piping suitable
for applications involving food contact and reaches a polycarbonate vessel,
from which it is drawn.
The condensate that forms is collected in the lower bell and
conveyed into the drain piping, made of RAUFILAM.
